Odyssey Systems has an exciting new opportunity for a Radar Systems Acquisition Program Manager supporting the Advanced Radar Systems Portfolio of the US Space Force Space Domain Awareness Division in the Special Programs Directorate of Space Systems Command. The Space Domain Awareness Division (USSF SSC/ECZG) executes system acquisition, modernization, and sustainment for ground- and space-based Space Domain Awareness (SDA) sensors and command and control (C2) systems. Activities include acquisition program management, system and subsystem engineering, maintenance and supply support, and fielding. Our client specializes in advanced network and communications systems development, with a focus on tactical mobile, military airborne networks of the future. The group develops IP networking protocols, MAC and PHY layer tactical systems for advanced development and prototype testing. The group is establishing a UAS networking laboratory and will use the DroneCode set of components (QGroundControl, PX4, MavSDK, MavLink. Gazebo) as part of the test infrastructure. The ideal candidates are likely going to be recent grads that went to schools with drone programs that they worked within. Having some sort of experience with drones and programming drone software is a MUST HAVE. Working with Drone swarms is highly preferred. Looking for someone ideally with school based or professional based experience with drones. For someone that is working with drones on a personal basis, they must be working with QGroundControl, PX4, MavSDK, MavLink, Gazebo. They need to be programming drones for personal use not simply flying them etc.
