Odyssey Systems has an exciting new opportunity for a Journeyman Electrical/Avionics Systems Engineer position supporting the Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance Special Operations Forces and Personnel Recovery (ISR SOF & PR) Division’s Fixed Wing Branch HC/MC Recapitalization Program. The HC/MC-130 Recapitalization Program is an ACAT IC program designed to replace the aging fleet of Air Combat Command (ACC) HC-130P/N aircraft and Air Force (AF) Special Operations Command (AFSOC) MC-130E/H/P. The MC-130 Recap aircraft is a versatile multi-mission tactical airlifter, principally focused on providing the combatant commander with strategic reconnaissance, direct action, counter-terrorism, and humanitarian relief capability. To deliver SOF and PR mission-specific capabilities, AFLCMC/WIS executes several post-production modification programs and projects, including three ACAT III programs under USSOCOM acquisition authority. The Fixed Wing Branch is the responsible acquisition source for these programs.
