Odyssey has an exciting new opportunity providing Advisory and Assistance Services (A&AS) as a Space Domain Awareness (SDA) Radar Systems Project Engineer to the Sensors Branch of the Combat Forces Command, Mission Delta 2, 2nd Sustainment Squadron (CFC MD2/2 STS).

The MD2/2 STS Sensors Branch executes system acquisition, modernization, and sustainment for ground- and space-based SDA sensors and command and control (C2) systems. Activities include acquisition program management, system and subsystem engineering, maintenance and supply support, and fielding.
Odyssey provides A&AS support to the Government in five areas: Product Support, Sustainment Engineering & Sustainment Management, Technical Order Management, Technical User Interface, and System Design, Engineering, and Integration. These tasks are executed laterally with USSF SSC and CFC depot and development contractors and with SDA stakeholders.
This is a full-time position at 2424 Garden of the Gods Road in Colorado Springs, CO with an opportunity for remote work 1 – 2 days per week at the discretion of the Government.
An A&AS contractor is a knowledgeable and trusted advisor to the Government. As an SDA Radar Systems Project Engineer, you will perform a wide range of engineering tasks, research, studies, and analysis that provide engineering, technical, and managerial direction for problem definition, analysis, requirement development, and implementation for complex systems in the engineering disciplines. You will provide A&AS support for the engineering and testing of Legacy SDA radar systems, including the Space Fence Radar on Kwajalein atoll in the Marshall Islands. Duties include, but are not limited to:
Citizenship: Must be a US citizen
Minimum Required Qualifications:
Clearance: Must hold an active Secret clearance and be eligible to obtain a DoD Top Secret/SCI clearance
Education: Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Engineering Management, Electrical Engineering (RF), or a related discipline OR,
Years of Experience: 4 or more years of relevant experience with 2 years in a Systems Engineering or Test Engineering role supporting similar Department of Defense or Intelligence Community Space Surveillance systems OR,
Preferred Qualifications:
Clearance: Active DoD Top Secret/SCI clearance
Certifications: Defense Acquisition University (DAU), Department of Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) or equivalent certification in Test and Evaluation, Engineering, or Program Management
Experience in DoD software and hardware waterfall development efforts
Experience with sensors, particularly radars

Location: Work is performed at 2424 Garden of the Gods, Colorado Springs, CO with work and meetings intermittently performed at Peterson Space Force Base and Prime Contractor location
