Position Summary

Odyssey has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Human Resources Support Specialist within our AFLCMC/C3I group (formerly HBM).

 

The C2ISR Division is responsible for a diverse portfolio that provides "cradle-to grave" support for the U-2 aircraft, E-8C Joint Surveillance Target Attack Radar System (JSTARS) aircraft, Air Force Distributed Common Ground System (AF DCGS), the Integrated Broadcast Service (IBS) system and other C2ISR programs as they transition to sustainment. The C2ISR Division provides worldwide life cycle support across the spectrum of the C2ISR capabilities based enterprise; including supply, distribution, materiel management, acquisition, system engineering and maintenance, financial planning and budgeting, security, flight test, and contracting functions. The Global Network Systems (GNS) Branch (AFLCMC/ HBGW), located at Hanscom AFB, MA, is one of the numerous branches within the C2ISR Division and reports directly to the C2ISR/HBG Senior Materiel Leader. EPASS support is required to execute the major GNS programs in support of the C2ISR Division, to include: AF DCGS Network Infrastructure Transformation (NIT), Extended Tether Program (ETP), and Global Command and Control System – Air Force Infrastructure (GCCS-AF (I)).

 

This is a full-time position located at Hanscom AFB, MA.

Responsibilities

Duties include but not limited to:

  • Provide day-to-day HR support and customer service to military personnel, Government civilians, and contractors.

  • Maintain WebAims personnel databases for all employees and manage in-processing and out-processing activities.

  • Review, track, update, and submit vacancy advertisements for the military Vacancy Master List (VML).

  • Update duty titles, rater assignments, position data, and other personnel records for military members.

  • Review, maintain, and support updates to the Unit Manning Document (UMD) to reflect gains, losses, Security Access Requirement (SAR) codes, duty title changes, and organizational personnel changes.

  • Review, update, and track military awards.

  • Coordinate Reserve man-days and long-tour orders, including associated funding actions.

  • Manage deployment training requirements for military personnel within designated deployment windows.

  • Work closely with the Executive Officer to update duty titles, raters, positions, and personnel records.

  • Collaborate with functional leads to ensure maximum utilization of manpower and monitor the status of ongoing personnel actions.

  • Represent division interests at weekly Directorate Organization, Train, and Equipment (OT&E) meetings.

  • Conduct and deliver weekly personnel status briefings to divisional senior leadership.

Qualifications

Citizenship: Must be a US citizen

 

Minimum Required Qualifications:

Clearance: Must have and be able to maintain an active Secret security clearance.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

Education: BA/BS Degree in a related discipline

Years of Experience: 10 years of directly related experience with 5 years of experience in a DoD setting

  • Experience with ATAAPS 
  • Experience working in a Front Office Group (FOG)
