Position Summary

Odyssey has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Administrative Professional supporting the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center Armament Directorate Advanced Programs Division (AFLCMC/EBA).

 

The Senior Administrative Professional provides advanced administrative, organizational, and operational support to leadership, program staff, and cross‑functional teams. This role requires a high level of independence, judgment, accountability, and technical proficiency. The Senior Administrative Professional coordinates complex schedules, manages documentation and records, supports task order and program operations, ensures compliance with Performance Work Statement (PWS) driven requirements, and serves as a key administrative resource supporting mission execution.

 

This is a full-time, onsite position at Eglin Air Force Base, FL

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

Administrative & Office Support

  • Perform high‑level administrative functions with minimal oversight, reflecting the Senior Skill Level’s requirement for independent task execution.
  • Provide expert-level use of office automation tools, including word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and presentation software.
  • Develop, edit, and format executive‑level documents, briefings, and correspondence.
  • Maintain accurate, secure, and compliant records management practices.

Program & Task Order Support

  • Provide administrative support aligned with task order management requirements, including scheduling, meeting coordination, and logistical support.
  • Assist with maintaining calendars, tracking milestones, and coordinating deliverables, ensuring alignment with PWS administrative requirements and organizational timelines.
  • Support leadership in preparing and submitting required documentation, reports, CDRLs, and other contract‑driven deliverables.

Communications & Stakeholder Coordination

  • Act as a primary administrative point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Draft, review, and route communications, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and compliance with organizational professional conduct standards.
  • Support meeting execution by preparing agendas, capturing notes, and tracking action items.

Operational Support & Compliance

  • Ensure all administrative activities comply with PWS requirements related to non‑personal services, professional conduct, and inherently governmental functions.
  • Maintain awareness of duty hour requirements and operational expectations (e.g., core hours) as referenced in organizational communications.
  • Provide reliable support during surge periods, short‑notice requirements, or adjusted schedules consistent with expectations.

Qualifications

Citizenship: Must be a US citizen

 

Minimum Required Qualifications:

Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance (Interim clearance or higher required to start)

Education/Years of Experience: Associates degree and 15 years of related experience; OR Bachelors degree and 10 years of related experience; OR Masters degree and 7 years of related experience

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Current Secret clearance
  • Demonstrated experience performing at a Senior Skill level reflecting high independence, judgment, and task proficiency
  • Advanced proficiency with office automation tools
  • Strong knowledge of administrative practices, document preparation standards, and records management requirements
  • Ability to communicate effectively—verbally and in writing—with personnel at all organizational levels
  • Experience supporting complex, multi‑stakeholder environments
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and time‑management skills

Location: Eglin AFB, FL

Travel: approximately 5%
