Position Summary

Odyssey Systems has an exciting new opportunity for a Portfolio Manager supporting United States Space Force (USSF) Combat Forces Command (CFC) Global Mission Operations Division at Peterson SFB CO.  CFC S35G provides operational, policy and sourcing guidance to Air Staff, organizations, and subordinate units in support of the Navigation Warfare (NAVWAR) and Global Positioning System (GPS). GPS provides 24/7/365 space-based Positioning, Navigation, & Timing (PNT) in accordance with The Space-Based PNT Policy (SPD-7) to maintain GPS as the international gold standard for satellite navigation systems for 6+ billion military and civilian worldwide users. This position will manage the CFC S35G NAVWAR Branch portfolio through tasker management, quality control, and coordinating meeting logistics. 

 

This is a full time position located in Building 1, Peterson SFB CO.

Responsibilities

Duties include, but not limited to: 

 

  • Aids with portfolio management for the USSF and CFC by ensuring that space, control and user capabilities are
    reviewed, documented, and formatted correctly
  • Drives identification and resolution of errors in the documentation related to CFC S35G efforts in support of the
    Directorate efforts and provides portfolio management support to assist with planning in support of the fielding
    of space and cyber capabilities to include tracking specific critical path elements
  • Represents the team as the NAVWAR/PNT/GPS subject matter expert for USSF/CFC-directed actions,
    including electronic taskers and Task Management Tool (TMT), Congressional inquiries, and verbal taskings
  • Leads revision process and/or deliverable production in appropriate formats identified by CFC S35G 
  • Diligently threads multiple inputs into one consolidated summary in appropriate formats
  • Reviews and leads the correction of staff packages to ensure compliance with CFC directives
  • Drives the coordination of meeting logistics including printing read-aheads, reserving meeting locations,
    scheduling and establishing Video Teleconference (VTC) connectivity
  • Regularly maintains action trackers and status dashboards to sustain throughput

 

Qualifications

Citizenship: Must be a US citizen

 

Minimum Required Qualifications

Clearance: TS/SCI

Education: High School Diploma or higher (higher degrees may have less experience)

Years of Experience: 13 years or more of military /government experience

Certifications: None

 

Technical Skills

  • Familiarity with the Enterprise Task Management Software Solution (ETMS2) and the TMT
  • Microsoft product proficiency (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
