Odyssey Systems has an exciting opportunity for an Acquisition Program Engineer – Systems supporting the AFLCMC/EBX Hypersonic Attack Cruise Missile (HACM) program at Eglin Air Force Base, FL.
The selected candidate will provide systems engineering and technical acquisition support across the development and integration of advanced weapon systems, ensuring technical baseline integrity, requirements traceability, and compliance with Air Force and DoD acquisition processes.
Duties include, but not limited to:
Provide systems engineering support across production and sustainment phases.
Manage and sustain the program technical baseline; support system-level reviews and tests.
Analyze engineering data and evaluate weapon system performance.
Conduct and support engineering trade studies considering performance, cost, risk, and schedule.
Support requirements development, validation, and configuration management.
Provide technical input to acquisition documentation, reviews, and IPTs.
Support risk management activities in alignment with AF SEAM processes.
Utilize requirements management tools such as DOORS.
Citizenship: Must be a US citizen
Minimum Required Qualifications
Clearance: Must have and be able to maintain an active Secret Clearacne
Education: Bachelor’s degree in related disipline + 5 years relevant experience
Preferred Qualifications
Education: Master’s degree + 3 years of relevant experience
Experience supporting Air Force or DoD weapon system acquisition programs
Experience supporting ACAT I or ACAT II programs
