Odyssey Systems has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Acquisition Program Logistician supporting an Air Force acquisition mission at Robins AFB, GA. The candidate will assist, prepare, develop, and deliver compliant documents supporting Logistics/Product Support activities required to field and maintain readiness and operational capability of systems, subsystems, and components. The candidate will provide comprehensive logistics support across the acquisition life cycle from requirements analysis through disposal to ensure weapons system readiness.

In this Advisory and Assistance Services (A&AS) role, you will provide expert-level support to Department of Defense (DoD) programs by assisting government leadership with decision-making, planning, and execution throughout the acquisition lifecycle. You will apply your technical and/or professional expertise to ensure compliance with applicable policies and regulations, contribute to mission success, and help deliver critical capabilities to the warfighter.
Assist, prepare, develop, and deliver compliant documentation supporting logistics and product support activities required to field and maintain system readiness and operational capability.
Apply logistics expertise across the design, development, production, operation, sustainment, and disposal phases of armament systems.
Plan, develop, and execute product support strategies spanning the full acquisition lifecycle.
Provide experienced logistics and technical resources to ensure effective, efficient, and affordable product support.
Apply and integrate all Integrated Product Support (IPS) elements, including Product Support Management, Design Interface, Sustaining Engineering, Supply Support, Maintenance Planning and Management, PHS&T, Technical Data, Support Equipment, Training/Training Support, Manpower/Personnel, Facilities/Infrastructure, and IT Systems.
Coordinate IPS element integration with logistics providers including Air Force Sustainment Center, Defense Logistics Agency, and contractors.
Advise and assist with Product Support Business Case Analyses (PS-BCA), Sustainment Reviews, Logistics Health Assessments, and Life Cycle Sustainment Plan (LCSP) processes.
Perform logistics management operations involving planning, coordination, and evaluation of product support for assigned missions, weapon systems, or programs.
Assist in identifying requirements for funding, manpower, materiel, facilities, and services and correlate them with program plans.
Provide support for funding, forecasting, programming, and budgeting activities using new and existing databases and software.
Maintain awareness of approved, deferred, and released funding status.
Perform cost estimating and analysis activities across all program phases, including most probable cost estimates, economic analyses, and probabilistic risk assessments.
Coordinate and evaluate efforts of functional specialists to ensure logistics requirements are met on schedule.
Integrate logistics functions in the planning and execution of product support strategies.
Provide logistics input to RFPs, SOWs, PWSs, and CDRLs.
Provide logistics analytical support for key logistics metrics including supply, reliability, and maintainability.
If appointed, serve as primary or alternate CA/CRL equipment custodian in accordance with AFI 23-101, including inventory management, authorization validation, reporting, and annual inventories.

Minimum Required Qualifications
Clearance: Secret (required)
Education: Bachelor’s degree and 10 years of relevant experience
Preferred Qualifications
Education: Master’s degree and 7 years of relevant experience
