Odyssey Systems has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Acquisition Program Logistician supporting an Air Force acquisition mission at Eglin AFB, FL. The candidate will assist, prepare, develop, and deliver compliant documents supporting Logistics/Product Support activities required to field and maintain readiness and operational capability of systems, subsystems, and components. The candidate will provide comprehensive logistics support across the acquisition life cycle from requirements analysis through disposal to ensure weapons system readiness.
Duties include, but not limited to:
Assist, prepare, develop, and deliver compliant logistics/product support documentation to support readiness and system operational capability
Plan, develop, and execute product support strategies spanning the acquisition lifecycle from requirements analysis through disposal
Apply knowledge of Integrated Product Support (IPS) elements, including Product Support Management, Design Interface, Sustaining Engineering, Supply Support, Maintenance Planning and Management, PHS&T, Technical Data, Support Equipment, Training/Training Support, Manpower/Personnel, Facilities/Infrastructure, and IT Systems
Advise and assist with PS-BCA, Sustainment Reviews, Logistics Health Assessments, and LCSP processes
Assist with logistics management operations involving planning, coordinating, or evaluating product support required to support a specified mission, weapons system, or designated program
Assist with identifying requirements for money, manpower, materiel, facilities, and services and correlating requirements with program plans
Provide knowledge and experience in funding, forecasting, programming, and budgeting using databases and software; maintain awareness of approved, deferred, and released funds
Provide cost estimating support including most probable cost estimates, acquisition cost analyses, economic analyses, and probabilistic cost/schedule/technical/programmatic risk assessments
Coordinate and evaluate efforts of functional specialists to identify requirements and develop/adjust plans and schedules to meet requirements on time
Integrate separate functions in planning or implementing a product support strategy
Provide logistics input on RFPs, SOWs, PWSs, and CDRLs
Provide logistics analytical support for key logistics metrics (including supply, reliability, and maintainability) for key logistics reviews
If appointed, assume the role of primary or alternate CA/CRL equipment custodian and perform duties IAW AFI 23-101 including maintaining required training, managing assets, performing inventory inspections, submitting allowance change requests, validating authorizations, reporting excess authorizations, ensuring items are on-hand and serviceability/condition is recorded, identifying critical requirements through functional area managers, and conducting annual floor-to-book and book-to-floor inventories

Clearance: Must have and be able to maintain an Active Secret clearance
Education: Bachelor’s
Years of Experience: 10 years relevant experience

Education Master’s
Years of experience: 7 years relevant experience
Technical Skills
Product support strategy planning and execution across the acquisition lifecycle
Integrated Product Support (IPS) elements
