Odyssey Systems has an exciting new opportunity providing Advisory and Assistance Services (A&AS) supporting the US Space Force mission to defend National Security Interests in Space as a Space Domain Awareness (SDA) Data Fusion Network Engineer on the Space Data Fusion Team of System Delta 85’s Mission Integration Branch (SSC SYD 85/BNN).
SYD 85 is the U.S. Space Force organization responsible for developing and delivering resilient space capabilities supporting Battle Management, Command, Control, Communication, and Space Intelligence (BMC3I). SYD 85 synchronizes acquisition efforts for critical space system capabilities and works together with Combat Forces Command (CFC) Mission Deltas to improve mission readiness.

This position provides Advisory and Assistance Services (A&AS) support moving science and technology efforts to real-world execution. The Sensor Data Fusion branch is executing sensor communication upgrades and system of systems integration and automation projects to prototype and field the next-generation SDA network and command and control systems.
This is a full-time position at 2424 Garden of the Gods Road with occasional work at Peterson SFB and Schriever SFB in Colorado Springs, CO and the opportunity to telework 1 day per week at the discretion of the Government.
Odyssey Systems provides support to the Government in five areas: Product Support, Sustainment Engineering & Sustainment Management, Technical Order Management, Technical User Interface, and System Design, Engineering, and Integration. These tasks are executed laterally with USSF SSC/SZG depot and development contractors and with SDA stakeholders.
An A&AS contractor is a knowledgeable and trusted advisor to the Government Program Office. As an SDA Data Fusion Network Engineer, you will work closely with the Government Program Manager and provide Advisory and Assistance Services support performing engineering tasks, research, studies, and analysis that provide technical, and managerial direction for problem definition, analysis, requirement development, and implementation for complex sensor networks. You will make recommendations and advise on system development, improvements, optimization, and support efforts and initiatives including contractual oversight for multiple small- to mid-sized contracts developing and fielding war fighting systems. Minimum Required Qualifications:
Clearance: Active Secret clearance, eligible for Top Secret/SCI clearance
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Network Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline
Years of Experience: 4 years of directly relevant experience, 2 of which must be in the DoD, OR,

Clearance: Active DoD TS/SCI clearance, agreeable to polygraph
Education: Master's degree in Network Engineering, Systems Engineering, Engineering Management, Computer Science, or a related discipline
