Odyssey Systems has an exciting new opportunity providing Advisory and Assistance Services (A&AS) supporting the US Space Force mission to defend National Security Interests in Space as a Space Intel Cybersecurity Systems Engineer in the Battlespace Intelligence Branch of System Delta 85 (SSC SYD 85/BI).
SYD 85 is the U.S. Space Force organization responsible for developing and delivering resilient space capabilities supporting Battle Management, Command, Control, Communication, and Space Intelligence (BMC3I). SYD 85 synchronizes acquisition efforts for critical space system capabilities and works together with Combat Forces Command (CFC) Mission Deltas to improve mission readiness.

You will support SSC’s Battlespace Management Command, Control, Communications and Space Intelligence portfolio, ensuring mission assurance and cybersecurity compliance for systems that enable national security space and intelligence operations. Work performed has a significant impact on SSC’s ability to protect classified systems, both in development and in operation, to include maintaining operational readiness of ISR-related capabilities within the Space Force and greater space enterprise.
Odyssey Systems provides support to the Government in five areas: Product Support, Sustainment Engineering & Sustainment Management, Technical Order Management, Technical User Interface, and System Design, Engineering, and Integration. These tasks are executed laterally with USSF SSC/SZG depot and development contractors and with SDA stakeholders.
This is a full-time position at 2424 Garden of the Gods Road in Colorado Springs, CO with an opportunity to telework 1 to 2 days per week at the discretion of the Government.
An A&AS contractor is a knowledgeable and trusted advisor to the Government Program Office. As a Space Intel Cybersecurity Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for safeguarding the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) and other mission systems managed by Space Systems Command (SSC). You will provide authoritative technical expertise across system lifecycles—from concept through sustainment—ensuring compliance with DoD, USSF, and Intelligence Community (IC) cybersecurity policies and frameworks. Final compensation for this position will be determined by various factors such as the Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant work experience, specific skills and competencies, geographic location, education, and certifications.
