Odyssey Systems has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Program Manager supporting a high-priority acquisition mission within the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center’s Cryptologic and Cyber Systems Division (AFLCMC/HNC). This division provides life cycle management for information assurance and other critical systems, with a mission focused on cyberspace support. Located at Lackland AFB, AFLCMC/HNC supports technology development, acquisition, sustainment, and demilitarization of cybersecurity systems that ensure warfighter access to critical systems while denying access to adversaries.
This is a full time on-site position located at Lackland AFB, San Antonio, TX.
In this Advisory and Assistance Services (A&AS) role, you will provide expert-level support to Department of Defense (DoD) programs by assisting government leadership with decision-making, planning, and execution throughout the acquisition lifecycle. You will apply your technical and/or professional expertise to ensure compliance with applicable policies and regulations, contribute to mission success, and help deliver critical capabilities to the warfighter.
Duties include, but not limited to:
Possess and apply comprehensive knowledge of systems acquisition and program management per DoDI 5000.02 and AFI 63-101/20-101.
Utilize qualitative and quantitative techniques to analyze acquisition program effectiveness, efficiency, and productivity.
Support activities that assist program managers in assessing programs against cost and schedule baselines.
Recommend viable solutions and alternative courses of action for acquisition challenges.
Communicate effectively through written and oral presentations, including briefings, documents, and plans.
Plan, research, analyze, and assess system acquisition in development, production, and deployment phases.
Formulate plans and recommend strategies to meet cost, schedule, and performance objectives.
Support and develop acquisition reports such as DAES and MAR.
Participate in program management reviews, senior-level meetings, and IMP/IMS reviews.
Prepare and deliver program status briefings and acquisition task schedules to senior management.
Citizenship: Must be a US citizen
Minimum Required Qualifications
Clearance: Must have and be able to maintain a Top Secret clearance
Education: Bachelor’s degree
Years of Experience: 10+ years of experience, five (5) of which must be in the DoD

Education: Master’s degree
Years of experience: 10+ years
Technical Skills
Knowledge of DoD acquisition policies (DoDI 5000.02, AFI 63-101/20-101)
Experience with acquisition documentation (DAES, MAR, etc.)
Proficiency in scheduling and reporting tools for IMP/IMS
Strong data analysis capabilities
Familiarity with defense program lifecycle management
