Odyssey Systems has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Cost Analyst supporting the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center/PEO Digital Directorate (AFLCMC/HB) at Hanscom Air Force Base, MA. The AFPEO Digital mission encompasses the modernization, development, testing, production, fielding, and sustainment of over 130 programs for the U.S. Air Force and allied partners.
The Senior Cost Analyst will provide support in cost estimating, contract pricing, and financial analysis across the acquisition lifecycle.
In this Advisory and Assistance Services (A&AS) role, you will provide expert-level support to Department of Defense (DoD) programs by assisting government leadership with decision-making, planning, and execution throughout the acquisition lifecycle. You will apply your technical and/or professional expertise to ensure compliance with applicable policies and regulations, contribute to mission success, and help deliver critical capabilities to the warfighter.
Perform routine cost estimating methods such as analogy, engineering or scientific methodology, and extrapolation
Perform cost estimating outputs to assess the impact various factors have on costs to design, research, develop, operate, maintain, and dispose of a particular weapon system
Analyze all elements affecting costs for a project of limited scope
Analyze contractor financial data using Earned Value Management (EVM) measures of merit to determine program viability with respect to cost and schedule performance
Apply analytical processes such as problem setup, background research, data collection and reduction, data display, mathematical modeling, and drawing conclusions
Provide contract pricing support services across all acquisition phases including development, award, management, measurement, and closeout
Prepare draft pricing briefings, correspondence, and reports
Develop pricing-related evaluation criteria, track pre-award milestones and status
Support source selection teams in evaluating cost proposals
Prepare pricing documentation for Government Contracting Officer review and approval
Prepare pricing spreadsheets of technical proposals and perform other pricing analyses to support evaluations
Provide pricing support to construct agency pricing reports and other documents in response to protests or claims
Access, populate, and analyze information in organizational pricing-related databases
Apply knowledge of the budgetary cycle (planning, programming, justification, and execution) to support program initiation
Apply experience in quantitative analysis and calculus
Citizenship: Must be a US citizen
Clearance: Must have and be able to maintain a Secret clearance
Education: Bachelors Degree with 10 years of experience and 5 of which must be in the DoD or
Education: Master Degree
Cost estimating methods (analogy, engineering/scientific methodology, extrapolation)
