Odyssey Systems has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Security Assistant to support the Aerospace Dominance Enabler Division (AFLCMC/ESDI) at Hill AFB, Ogden, Utah. The ADE Division provides acquisition, sustainment, and technical expertise to support numerous Air Force systems, including Electronic Warfare, Command and Control Systems, Advanced Radar Threat Systems, Air Combat Training and Aircrew Readiness, and many others across the USAF and joint service environments.
In this Advisory and Assistance Services (A&AS) role, you will provide expert-level support to Department of Defense (DoD) programs by assisting government leadership with decision-making, planning, and execution throughout the acquisition lifecycle. You will apply your technical and/or professional expertise to ensure compliance with applicable policies and regulations, contribute to mission success, and help deliver critical capabilities to the warfighter.
Duties include, but not limited to:
Support Inspection Preparations: Assist the IP Lead with inspection readiness, Management Internal Control Toolset (MICT) inputs, and related security documentation.
Access Control & Security Measures: Conduct entry/exit inspections, anti-terrorism random measures, and visitor control/escort duties.
Classified Processing Areas (CAPs) & Secure Work Areas (SWAs):
Manage end-of-day security checks for CAP/SWA spaces.
Assist with security container combination changes, secure space monitoring, and maintenance reporting.
Provide support for secure space builds/projects and secure video teleconferencing operations.
Security Compliance: Identify classified documents, ensure proper safeguarding, and support security audits as directed.
Training & Documentation: Complete all required DoD and Air Force security training requirements, ensuring full compliance with regulations.
Communication & Coordination: Interact effectively with DoD military/civilian personnel, contractors, and security authorities to maintain a secure operating environment.
Contingency Support: Adapt to mission-critical schedules as required, including travel within the organization’s area of responsibility.
Minimum Required Qualifications:
Citizenship: Must be a US Citizen
Clearance: Must have and be able to maintain a Top Secret Clearance
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in a related field and 12 years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, five of which must be in the DoD OR,
Understanding of counterintelligence threats and trends
Familiarity with DoD and Air Force security policies, manuals, directives, and instructions
Experience with DISS, SCIF operations, and DD Form 254 processes
Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and sound judgment
Strong written and verbal communication skills
