Odyssey Systems has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Program Manager to support the C3I and Infrastructure Division (AFLCMC/HNI) at Hanscom Air Force Base in Bedford, MA. The division provides enterprise support to more than 110 active Air Force, Air National Guard, and Air Force Reserve installations, as well as delivering technical and policy support and C3I infrastructure for USAF enterprise applications.
The Senior Program Manager provides program management support in accordance with DoDI 5000.02, AFI 63-101/20-101, and other applicable guidance. This position applies knowledge of acquisition principles, policies, and practices to assist in planning, research, analysis, assessment, and reporting across all program phases.
In this Advisory and Assistance Services (A&AS) role, you will provide expert-level support to Department of Defense (DoD) programs by assisting government leadership with decision-making, planning, and execution throughout the acquisition lifecycle. You will apply your technical and/or professional expertise to ensure compliance with applicable policies and regulations, contribute to mission success, and help deliver critical capabilities to the warfighter.
Duties include, but not limited to:
Apply comprehensive knowledge of acquisition and program management principles, policies, and practices.
Apply knowledge of roles and relationships within DoD and the Air Force.
Use qualitative and quantitative techniques to gather, analyze, and measure effectiveness, efficiency, and productivity of acquisition programs.
Assess programs against schedule and cost baselines, recommend viable solutions, and pursue alternative courses of action.
Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, and produce acquisition and program documentation including briefings, documents, and plans.
Plan, research, analyze, and assess system acquisition in development, production, and deployment of weapon systems and equipment.
Formulate plans and recommend strategies to meet cost, schedule, and performance objectives.
Support and develop acquisition reports, including statutory and regulatory reports (e.g., DAES, MAR).
Support program management reviews, senior-level meetings/reviews, and IMP/IMS reviews.
Develop and present briefings and schedules of program status and acquisition tasks for senior management.
Citizenship: Must be a US citizen
Minimum Required Qualifications
Clearance: Must have and be able to maintain an Active Secret Clearance
Education/Experience: BA/BS degree and 15 years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, of which 5 years must be in the DoD; OR
20 years of directly related experience with proper certifications as described in the Functionally Aligned Job Descriptions, of which 8 years must be in the DoD.
Preferred Qualifications
Education/Experience: Advanced degree (MA/MS) and 12 years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, of which 5 years must be in the DoD.
