Odyssey Systems is seeking a Senior Cyber and Network Architect SME to support AFLCMC/HNI at Hanscom AFB. This position will lead enterprise-level cyber architecture, hybrid/multi-cloud roadmap development, and Zero Trust strategy alignment. The ideal candidate will serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for divisional systems architecture, digital engineering, and cybersecurity planning—providing guidance across teams and integrating policy, architecture, and mission execution. The candidate will interface regularly with government and contractor stakeholders, represent the Chief Engineer in senior-level engagements, and support technical reviews and acquisition strategy development.
In this Advisory and Assistance Services (A&AS) role, you will provide expert-level systems architecture and cybersecurity support to the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC), specifically the C3I & Infrastructure Division (HNI), to align enterprise IT and cybersecurity strategies with evolving mission needs. As the Senior Cyber and Network Architect SME, you will direct and coordinate multidisciplinary efforts across technical teams, support enterprise-level architectural planning and modernization, and act as a trusted advisor on cybersecurity and hybrid/multi-cloud strategies.
Duties include, but not limited to:
Lead and coordinate tasks across Systems Interoperability and Integration SMEs, Cybersecurity SMEs, and associated technical leads.
Serve as SME on cybersecurity policy implementation, including compliance with DoDI 8500.01 and 8510.01.
Develop actionable recommendations to align systems design and architecture with industry best practices and mission objectives.
Architect and guide the Division’s hybrid and multi-cloud roadmap (compute/storage) to operate effectively in connected/disconnected states.
Support development and management of enterprise IT strategy to align with AFLCMC/HNI mission goals and organizational processes.
Lead Zero Trust strategy development and roadmap implementation across the Division.
Serve as key technical advisor for Digital Engineering transformation initiatives, including application of SysML.
Provide support for statutory and regulatory reporting (e.g., TEMs, MARs) and senior-level technical reviews.
Represent the Chief Engineer at technical reviews, status meetings, and acquisition decision briefings as required.
Collaborate with ICAM teams to ensure secure and seamless identity/access management in multi-cloud and disconnected environments.
Identify and recommend enterprise-level system improvements and modernization strategies.
Conduct architecture gap assessments and develop transition plans to align current and target architectures.
Support and lead governance, compliance, and enterprise cybersecurity integration activities.

ACAT I or equivalent program support
Citizenship: Must be a US citizen
Minimum Required Qualifications
Clearance: Must hold an active Secret clearance
Education: MA/MS in a relevant technical discipline
Years of Experience: 10+ years of relevant experience with at least 5 years supporting DoD programs
Preferred Qualifications
Clearance: TS/SCI
Certifications: CISSP, CEH, Cloud+, or similar cybersecurity certifications
Experience supporting ACAT I programs or equivalent high-visibility DoD acquisition efforts
Familiarity with the Defense Acquisition Guidebook (DAG) Chapter 3 and systems engineering best practices
Experience with Digital Engineering tools and modeling languages (e.g., SysML, Cameo/MagicDraw)
Knowledge of DoDAF, ICAM, Zero Trust, and enterprise architecture frameworks
Strong leadership and team collaboration experience, including cross-MAJCOM coordination
Experience drafting and supporting acquisition strategy documentation (e.g., RFPs, technical evaluations)
