Position Summary

Odyssey Systems has an exciting new opportunity for an Electrical Engineering Support person, supporting the Air Force Program Executive Officer for Agile Combat Support (AFPEO/ACS) at Robins Air Force base in Georiga.

 

Responsibilities

Duties include, but not limited to: 

 

  • The Contractor shall assist in the performance of technical planning, systems integration, verification and validation, cost and risk analysis, and supportability and effectiveness analysis for overall systems, subsystems, and support equipment to include integration of Mission Support Equipment (MSE). The Contractor shall assist in the performance of engineering activities to include defining system requirements, reviewing vendor designs and technical proposals, researching and developing technical solutions, performing systems functional analysis, conducting trade studies, conducting technical reviews, and performing test and evaluation activities.
  • The Contractor shall coordinate with USG agencies, prototype facilities, commercial vendors, and engineering firms to conduct analyses. The Contractor shall aid in creating engineering documentation and electrical engineering analyses.
  • The Contractor shall assist in identifying, managing, mitigating, and addressing technical and program architecture risks, including interoperability analysis and risk assessment. The Contractor shall also provide support for the integration of current and evolving systems into the weapons system platforms.
  • The Contractor shall provide engineering support by utilizing electrical engineering principles to determine the business and technical needs of Mission Partners in the acquisition, development or sustainment of weapon systems, subsystems, support systems, equipment items, or an equivalent product.

 

 

 

Qualifications

Citizenship: Must be a US citizen

 

Minimum Required Qualifications

Clearance: Secret

Education & Years of Experience: 

  • Master’s or Doctorate Degree in a related field and ten years of experience in the respectivetechnical / professional discipline being performed, five years of which must be in the DoD
  • OR, Bachelor’s Degree in a related field and 12 years of experience in the respectivetechnical/professional discipline being performed, five of which must be in the DoD
  • OR, 15 years of directly related experience with proper certifications as described in the PWSlabor category performance requirements, eight of which must be in the DoD.

Preferred Qualifications

Education & Years of Experience: 

  • Undergraduate degree with a major in engineering from a college or university with an Accreditation Board of Engineering and Technology (ABET) accredited engineering program(s)
