Odyssey Systems has an exciting opportunity for a Research Database Developer, supporting the 711th Human Performance Wing (711 HPW), headquartered at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base. It is the first human-centric warfare wing to consolidate human performance research, education and consultation under a single organization. This role itself is located at the University of Cincinnati, 231 Albert Sabin Way, Rm 2453, Cincinnati, OH.

Duties include, but are not limited to:
-Developing and maintaining databases, applications, data systems, and data integrity processes with high accuracy and integrity.
-Completing development, integration, and maintenance tasks within specified timeframes.
-Ensuring compliance with all data management practices, including Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines and relevant regulatory standards.
-Performing regular audits, and ensuring a high level of data integrity and accuracy.

Minimum Required Qualifications
Citizenship: Must be a US citizen.
Clearance: Ability to Obtain NACI.
Education: The contractor employee shall possess a bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, health informatics, or related field.
Years of Experience: The contractor employee shall possess minimum of three (3) years of demonstrated experience in database development and management, including data systems development and management, in a research and clinical research setting.
Other requirements:
-The contractor employee shall be proficient in programming languages used in the design of research databases (e.g., Visual Basic, Visual Basic for Applications, SQL, PERL), proficient in programming languages used in data management (e.g., SQL, JavaScript, C#), and proficient in programming languages used in data integration (e.g.,SQL, Visual Basic, PERL).
-The contractor employee shall possess experience with REDCap, Microsoft Access, SQL databases, and Electronic Data Capture (EDC) systems such as Medidata Rave.
-The contract employee shall possess demonstrated excellent organizational skills to
manage large volumes of data.
- The contract employee shall possess demonstrated experience with strong attention to
detail and accuracy in data management.
-The contractor employee shall possess demonstrated excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
-The contractor employee shall have a signed Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) in place with their company based on the potential access to confidential, proprietary, and/or sensitive information. NDA shall be provided to the Government Program Manager by start of performance.
Preferred Qualifications
Education: Master’s degree in health informatics, computer science, or related field.
Years of experience: Prior medical military and research experience.
Certifications: Certification in database management, clinical data management, data integration, or health information technology.
