Position Summary

Odyssey Systems is seeking a highly experienced EITaaS Tchnologies Subject (SME) to support  initiatives by leading efforts in developing strategic plans, defining service governance, and applying cybersecurity and user experience methodologies in support of USAF IT modernization efforts. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Networking/Telecom, Cybersecurity, User Experience, and Branding strategies with the ability to support complex problem-solving across functional areas.

Responsibilities

In this Advisory and Assistance Services (A&AS) role, you will provide expert-level support to Department of Defense (DoD) programs by assisting government leadership with decision-making, planning, and execution throughout the acquisition lifecycle. You will apply your technical and/or professional expertise to ensure compliance with applicable policies and regulations, contribute to mission success, and help deliver critical capabilities to the warfighter.

 

Duties include, but not limited to: 

  • Lead efforts within assigned EITaaS functional areas in support of developing strategic plans and providing expert recommendations in Networking/Telecom models

  • Define Service Life Cycle and Process Governance and develop Oversight and Management Plans

  • Provide requirements and Service Level Agreement definitions

  • Assist in planning, documenting, and reviewing proposed Application Migration Strategies

  • Assist in the development of a strategic plan with the vision, goals, and objectives applicable to their functional area of expertise

  • Provide expert consulting to assist the government in defining EITaaS-specific Cyber Security requirements, definitions, and support in applying these concepts in the AFNet Risk Management Framework (RMF)

  • Provide expertise to assist in the implementation of EITaaS Transition and strategies to normalize Operations Support

  • Provide functional area expertise to stakeholder communication strategies

  • Assist in developing a framework for understanding end users and their interactions with USAF IT, including user archetypes and journeys across RRE Bases

  • Assist in designing and prototyping a methodology and processes for gathering user experience metrics (i.e., user sentiment, user satisfaction) across RRE Bases, including design and implementation of baseline and ongoing end user surveys

  • Assist in developing and prototyping processes for gathering and reporting Voice of the End User qualitative data

  • Assist in developing a unique and appropriate editorial and visual design system for the USAF’s EITaaS Program, comparable with best-in-class private sector services

Qualifications

Citizenship: Must be a US citizen

 

Minimum Required Qualifications

Clearance: Secret

Education: Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BS) 

Years of Experience: 10 years of work experience in the functional discipline being performed.

 

Technical Skills

  • Extensive expertise in Networking/Telecom models

  • Experience with defining and implementing Service Life Cycle and Process Governance

  • Understanding of Application Migration Strategies

  • Expert knowledge of AFNet RMF cybersecurity requirements and processes

  • Experience with developing and implementing user experience metrics and surveys

  • Capability to solve complex EITaaS problems independently and creatively

  • Experience with branding and editorial/visual design systems

Interpersonal Skills

  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills

  • Ability to work under general direction and independently resolve complex problems

  • Skilled in planning schedules and arranging activities to efficiently accomplish objectives

Please note: Final compensation for this position will be determined by various factors such as the Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant work experience, specific skills and competencies, geographic location, education, and certifications.
