Position Summary

Odyssey Systems is seeking experienced Senior Logistics Managers to join our talent community for anticipated opportunities supporting Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC) programs at Hanscom Air Force Base in Bedford, MA.

 

This is an evergreen posting and is not associated with a currently open position. It is used to proactively identify and engage highly qualified candidates for potential future roles across our logistics and acquisition support portfolio.

 

Candidates who express interest will be considered for upcoming positions as they become available, based on alignment between their experience and program needs. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in logistics management, sustainment planning, and supply chain assurance in a DoD acquisition environment.

Responsibilities

Duties include, but not limited to: 

  • Lead and execute logistics management operations supporting mission requirements and designated programs.

  • Identify critical logistics needs including funding, manpower, materials, facilities, and services.

  • Develop and align logistics requirements with DoD and USAF policy and procedures.

  • Lead and participate in Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) and cross-functional groups.

  • Assess and implement risk mitigation strategies for supply chain assurance.

  • Conduct and document Logistics Health Assessments (LHAs).

  • Support or lead development and updates to Life Cycle Sustainment Plans (LCSP).

  • Manage and implement Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) programs.

  • Ensure compliance with Asset Management and Material Accountability policies.

  • Prepare and present alternative logistics strategies in response to changes in funding, schedules, or program direction.

  • Utilize Microsoft Office tools for planning, analysis, and reporting (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project).

Qualifications

Citizenship: Must be a US citizen

 

Minimum Required Qualifications

Clearance: Must have an Active Secret Clearance 

Education: Bachelor’s Degree

Years of Experience: 10+ years total logistics experience, with at least 5 years supporting DoD programs

 

Preferred Qualifications

Clearance: TS/SCI

Education:Master’s Degree

 

Technical Skills

  • Working knowledge of DoD 5000 acquisition framework

  • Familiarity with the Product Support Business Case Analysis

  • Understanding of the 12 Product Support Elements in the DoD Product Support Manager Guidebook

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project)

Interpersonal Skills

  • Ability to lead complex projects with minimal supervision

  • Strong communication and coordination skills across functional teams

  • Capable of presenting logistics strategies and advising senior leaders
