Odyssey Systems is currently seeking a Network Administrator to support the Aerospace Dominance Enabler Division (AFLCMC/HBZ) at Hill AFB in Ogden, Utah. The HBZ Division delivers acquisition and sustainment expertise for USAF systems including Electronic Warfare, Air Combat Training, Advanced Radar Threat Systems, Command and Control, and others. This role supports the Live Mission Operations Capability (LMOC) program, the Air Force's cutting-edge system for real-time weapon modeling and live training operations.
In this role, you will administer and maintain Unclassified and Classified Local Area Networks (LAN), support classified communications for mission-critical C2 activities, and collaborate with both military and civilian personnel. You will be instrumental in the configuration, security, and sustainment of IT infrastructure that enables continuous warfighter readiness.
In this Advisory and Assistance Services (A&AS) role, you will provide expert-level support to Department of Defense (DoD) programs by assisting government leadership with decision-making, planning, and execution throughout the acquisition lifecycle. You will apply your technical and/or professional expertise to ensure compliance with applicable policies and regulations, contribute to mission success, and help deliver critical capabilities to the warfighter.
Duties include, but not limited to:
Administer and maintain LAN/WAN systems including network security on classified/unclassified networks.
Provide secure communication channels for product teams outlining sensitive requirements and designs.
Support assessment, development, and maintenance of telecommunications infrastructure (phones, videoconferencing, messaging).
Assist in the development of web-based IT equipment management and custom Government software applications.
Perform VMware server administration, including high availability and virtualization.
Provide help desk support for technology networks, managing IT tickets and user access for Government systems (e.g., ABSS, CPARs, CAS).
Install communication cabling (Cat 5, Fiber) including terminal ends and infrastructure setup.
Develop documentation and artifacts for DIACAP/RMF certification of unclassified and classified network systems.
Conduct system security reviews for new designs and software to identify potential risks.
Integrate new technologies and provide strategic recommendations on infrastructure improvements.
Conduct system usage analysis and troubleshoot IT infrastructure, providing system upgrades and reliability improvements.
Support Air Force network interfaces and ensure integrity and availability of mission-critical systems.
Minimum Required Qualifications:
Citizenship: Must be a US citizen
Clearance: Secret
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in a related field and 12 years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, 5 of which must be in the DoD OR,
