Odyssey Systems has an exciting opportunity for a Security Manager providing support to the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center/PEO Digital Directorate (AFLCMC/HB). The Air Force Program Execution Office for PEO Digital (AFPEO/HB) has the collective Air Force Materiel Command (AFMC) mission responsibility to manage and execute the modernization, development, testing, production, fielding, and sustainment of the PEO Digital portfolio, which includes over 130 programs for the United States Air Force (USAF) and foreign allies. AFLCMC/PEO Digital Directorate is headquartered at Hanscom Air Force Base, MA with geographically separated operating units CONUS and OCONUS.
The Security Manager will be under the oversight and management of the Special Security Officer (SSO) and assist the Government Special Access Program (GSSO) and Chief, IP (CIP and Government Special Access Program (SAP) Security Officer (GSSO) in the following security disciplines: physical, personnel, information, and industrial security. This is to protect resources from the espionage, terrorism, and threats of unauthorized disclosure and/or compromise of information or material considered vital to the organization’s mission interest, national defense, or national security.
This is a full time position at Hanscom AFB, MA.
Duties include, but not limited to:
Security Functions 1
Manage personnel access via Access Control System (ACS) and DISS; process security packages, assessments, audits, and facility inspections (e.g., SCIFs, TSWA).
Conduct SCI briefings, indoctrinations, debriefings, and manage nondisclosure agreements.
Review/maintain security policy documents and ensure Emergency Action Plans (EAP) are current and tested.
Approve Restricted Area Badges and coordinate physical access for external personnel.
Perform full spectrum of security support IAW DoD 5205.07, JSIG, and related directives, including incident response, classification management, and inquiry assistance.
Security Functions 2
Execute personnel, physical, information, and TEMPEST security programs; manage PSIs and incident files.
Administer DISS for personnel accountability and coordinate derogatory info processing.
Ensure SCIFs/SAPFs meet ICD 705 and other compliance standards; prepare and maintain accreditation documents.
Support annual self-inspections and program compliance across SCI/collateral facilities.
Facilitate nondisclosure training, PARs, OPSEC, and industrial/technical security requirements.
Security Functions 3
Deliver and document required security awareness training (SCI, unauthorized disclosure/NATO) IAW C.F.R.32.
Security Functions 4
Ensure compliance with DoD/AF Information Protection policies (DoDM 5200, AFM 16-1404/05/06).
Manage PERSEC IRs, security clearances, incident inquiries, and INFOSEC violations.
Oversee self-assessments, SAVs, training, and coordination with internal/external agencies.
Support CIP and IP-related functions including foreign travel, construction standards, CUI handling, and IT security access coordination.
Citizenship: Must be a US citizen
Clearance: Must have an Active Top Secret Clearance with SCI Eligibility
Minimum Required Qualifications:
Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent
Years’ experience: 7 years of directly related experience, 5 years of which must be in the DoD.
