Odyssey Systems has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Security Assistant to support the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC), Program Executive Office (PEO) Digital Directorate (AFLCMC/HB) at Hanscom Air Force Base. This role provides essential security support across over 130 acquisition programs for the United States Air Force and allied foreign nations. As part of the integrated Information Protection team, the Senior Security Assistant will execute multi-disciplinary security responsibilities spanning personnel, information, industrial, operational, and physical security domains.

In this Advisory and Assistance Services (A&AS) role, you will provide expert-level support to Department of Defense (DoD) programs by assisting government leadership with decision-making, planning, and execution throughout the acquisition lifecycle. You will apply your technical and/or professional expertise to ensure compliance with applicable policies and regulations, contribute to mission success, and help deliver critical capabilities to the warfighter.
Duties include, but not limited to:
Provide technical advice and security support to multiple collateral and SCI programs.
Maintain effective working relationships with Information Protection (IP) leads, program managers, and contracting officers.
Assist with the development and maintenance of OPSEC, transition, emergency action, and transportation plans.
Review documentation for public release, ensuring proper CUI markings, classifications, and distribution.
Provide classification guidance and support for collateral and SCI programs.
Support counterintelligence threat briefings and documentation.
Develop Security Classification Guides, Program Protection Plans, SOPs, DD Form 254s, and related documents.
Manage inbound and outbound classified mail, packages, courier forms, and destruction of classified/CUI materials.
Maintain security clearance records in DISS; ensure proper access control and SF-312/NDA compliance.
Process and validate Visitor Access Requests (VAR), foreign visit notifications, and self-reports in DISS.
Assist with e-QIP initiation and fingerprinting for clearance processing.
Support inspection preparation using MICT and other platforms.
Perform entry/exit inspections and implement random antiterrorism measures.
Maintain facility access controls and manage visitor escorting and access badge issuance.
Provide data entry into security systems; follow/enforce SOPs and Operating Instructions.
Support secure work areas (CAPs/SWAs) with access control, checks, maintenance, and monitoring.
Assist with alarm systems, secure video conferencing systems, and classified meetings.
Deliver in-person security and force protection briefings; develop awareness materials.
Perform additional administrative tasks as directed by the Contractor Site Lead or IP Lead.
Citizenship: Must be a US citizen
Minimum Required Qualifications
Clearance: Must have and be able to maintain a Secret Clearance
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in a related field and 12 years of relevant experience (5 years in the DoD), OR
Preferred Qualifications
Education: Master’s or Doctorate Degree in a related field and 10 years of relevant experience (5 years in the DoD)
Technical Skills
Familiarity with DISS and the DD Form 254 process
Understanding of counterintelligence threats and DoD/AF security policies
Basic understanding of cloud-based classified systems
Skilled in handling sensitive materials with sound judgment
Ability to identify and properly safeguard classified materials
Interpersonal Skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Capable of working in a dynamic environment with military, civilian, and contractor personnel
Discretion and professionalism in managing sensitive or classified information
