Position Summary

Odyssey Systems has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Program Manager supporting a high-priority acquisition mission within the AFLCMC/HNA, located at Hanscom AFB, Bedford, MA.

The Aerial Networks Division’s mission is to acquire, field, and sustain networks, integrated information systems, enterprise services, and applications that support the Global Information Grid (GIG). These capabilities enable communication across land, naval, air, and space warfare domains and are critical to ensuring joint and coalition interoperability.

 

This is a full time position located at Hanscom AFB, Bedford, MA.

Responsibilities

Duties include, but not limited to: 

  • Apply comprehensive knowledge of acquisition principles, policies, and practices as outlined in DoDI 5000.02 and AFI 63-101/20-101.

  • Leverage understanding of organizational roles and relationships within the DoD and Air Force to support mission execution.

  • Utilize qualitative and quantitative techniques to analyze and measure program effectiveness, efficiency, and productivity.

  • Support program planning, production, deployment, and life cycle management of weapons systems and associated equipment.

  • Monitor program performance relative to cost and schedule baselines and recommend corrective actions as needed.

  • Research and assess system acquisition strategies, develop plans, and recommend approaches to meet cost, schedule, and performance goals.

  • Prepare and deliver acquisition documentation and reporting, including DAES and Monthly Acquisition Reports (MAR).

  • Support preparation and execution of program management reviews, senior-level briefings, and Integrated Master Plan/Integrated Master Schedule (IMP/IMS) reviews.

  • Develop and deliver high-quality briefings, reports, and status updates to senior leadership.

Qualifications

Citizenship: Must be a US citizen

 

Minimum Required Qualifications

Clearance: Must have an Active DoD Secret clearance

Education: Bachelor’s degree

Years of Experience: 10+ years of program management experience, with at least 5 years supporting Department of Defense (DoD) programs

 

Preferred Qualifications

Education: Master’s degree

 

Technical Skills

  • DoDI 5000.02, AFI 63-101/20-101

  • DAES, MAR, and other statutory acquisition reporting

  • Integrated Master Plan (IMP) / Integrated Master Schedule (IMS)

  • Quantitative program analysis techniques

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and acquisition documentation tools

Interpersonal Skills

  • Strong oral and written communication skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of an integrated product team

  • Confident briefing senior-level leadership

  • Problem-solving and analytical mindset
