As part of Odyssey’s team of Growth professionals, the Senior Business Development Manager supporting growth in the Army market, will successfully identify, qualify, and maintain a funnel of new business opportunities, and lead growth initiatives for the organization. This position will require an energetic and proactive approach and a fundamental understanding of the US DoD Army market. The Business Development Manager will work closely with the Group Executive Directors, and report directly to the Director, Corporate Growth. This is a full-time hybrid role ideally based out of the Aberdeen Proving Ground area, the National Capitol Region, or one of our corporate offices located near critical Army customers. |
Duties include, but not limited to:
Minimum Required Qualifications
Citizenship: Must be a US Citizen
Clearance: Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain a Top-Secret Clearance
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in a Business or Technical Discipline
Years of Experience: 3-5 years Business Development or Capture experience in DoD Service companies, preferably supporting Army related customers and markets.
Preferred Qualifications
Clearance: Active Top Secret Clearance
Education: Master’s Degree in a Business Field
Certifications: Project Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Professional (PMP) or Shipley certification
Locations: Aberdeen Proving Grounds, National Capital Region, Huntsville, AL, and other Army Acquisition hubs.

Final compensation for this position will be determined by various factors such as the Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant work experience, specific skills and competencies, geographic location, education, and certifications.
