Odyssey has an exciting new opportunity for a skilled Proposal Writer to join our dynamic team! In this role, you’ll report directly to the Director of Proposals and play a pivotal part in crafting high-impact proposal content that includes technical approaches, management volumes, executive summaries, resumes, and more. Working within the Department of Defense (DoD) environment, you’ll be instrumental in creating compelling, compliant proposals that make a difference.
As a Proposal Writer with Odyssey, you'll engage in color reviews, kick-off meetings, and collaborative sessions with subject matter experts to develop winning content. You’ll also take the lead on content reviews, ensuring every proposal meets our high standards of compliance and clarity. This position offers a unique opportunity to expand your skills in desktop publishing, proposal compliance, and content management. Additionally, you’ll support the Odyssey Content Library by developing and updating boilerplate language, templates, and past performance materials, keeping our resources top-notch and ready for the next challenge. This is a fully remote role with occasional travel.
Duties include, but not limited to:
Citizenship: Must be a US citizen
Minimum Required Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Writing, English, Journalism, Marketing, or Relevant Technical Discipline
Years of Experience: At least three (3) years of familiarity with the development of content for Requests for Proposals (RFPs)in a Department of Defense (DOD) or related industry environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Certifications: APMP certification and/or Shipley training preferred
