Odyssey Systems is currently recruiting for an Operations Director. Our Operations Director manages and leads the success of a portfolio of programs within Odyssey's C5ISR Business Unit. This individual will execute their respective portfolio of programs in close collaboration and accordance with company and customer objectives. Operations Directors are responsible for their assigned portfolio's operational management and supervisory, administrative, and financial functions. This position will manage Program Managers, Task Leads, and other staff members, ensuring high-quality operational performance standards are achieved. They are responsible for maximizing customer satisfaction and emphasizing employee engagement. Directors also manage and lead subcontractor relationships in their areas of responsibility. They also play a critical role in enabling growth and new business development through consistent and collaborative integration with our Business Development team.
Odyssey's C5ISR Group supports a wide range of customers for C5ISR (Command, Control, Computers, Communications, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance). Our support plays a crucial role in the ability to coordinate and control the assets needed for warfighter mission success.

Citizenship: Must be a US citizen
Minimum Required Qualifications
Clearance: Ability to obtain a Secret level clearance
Education: Bachelor's Degree in a Business or Technical Discipline
Years of Experience: 10 plus years of comparable experience within the C5ISR mission set, including previous senior management experience in the delivery of technical and management services (Program Management and Operations execution)
Preferred Qualifications
Clearance: Active Secret Clearance
Education: Master’s degree in business or another relevant field
Technical Skills
Ability to work effectively with a broad range of people with a wide variety of technical skills and experience.
Ability to react quickly in a rapidly changing environment, motivate and manage a team, and support staff
Ability/experience managing professional personnel in a defense environment.
Ability/experience managing contract execution in a defense environment (hours, vacancies, funding, performance, quality)
Ability/experience managing contract financial execution/tracking/expenditures in a defense environment.
Ability/experience interfacing regularly with Government clients (Military and Civilian) on all aspects of contract execution.
