Position Summary

Odyssey Systems has an exciting opportunity for a Recruiter to join our Talent Acquisition team. Odyssey supports various DoD programs and customers within C5ISR, Aviation, Space and Missile Defense, System Solutions, and Medical Research & Development. This position will participate in developing, managing, and executing a full life cycle talent and recruitment strategy aligned with organizational goals to ensure that ongoing and future organizational talent demands are met.

Responsibilities

Duties include, but are not limited to: 

  • Engage in all aspects of the recruiting process, including job postings, identification and interviewing of qualified applicants, guidance on selecting the best candidates for hire, and creating job offers.
  • Establish and foster relationships with hiring managers and programs to develop talent attraction strategies that support organizational vision and goals for growth.
  • Screen and interview DoD-cleared candidates to determine qualifications and fit for open positions.
  • Communicate with candidates, hiring managers, task leads, program managers, and executive directors to determine needs and priorities, collect feedback, and provide updates. 
  • Utilize social media, LinkedIn, Indeed, Monster, and other database sources to attract passive candidates.
  • Participate in career fairs and other networking events to identify and attract qualified talent.
  • Promote Odyssey Systems' brand, culture, and professional opportunities to position Odyssey as an employer of choice.
  • Work directly with candidates on scheduling interviews and assist with recruiting event planning and other logistics.
  • Collaborate and support other TA team members in recruiting initiatives across the organization.
  • Direct accountability for tracking candidate activity in Odyssey's ATS for recordkeeping, reporting, and compliance

Qualifications

Minimum Required Qualifications:

Citizenship: Must be a US citizen

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business, Communications, or another related discipline

Years' experience: 4-6 years of full-cycle recruiting experience

Skills: 

  • Highly defined organizational skills with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and assignments appropriately, maintain detailed records and be a results-oriented self-starter
  • Models a high level of accountability and personal integrity
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate with internal and external clients/customers openly and with respect
  • Proficient technical skills and a deep understanding of sourcing methods

Preferred Qualifications:

Certifications: CIR

Experience: 

  • DoD and Government sourcing experience for Engineering and Acquisition Program Management positions preferred
  • Previous military service experience is highly desired
  • iCIMS experience is preferred

Additional Information:

Location: Remote, but must be local to Wakefield, MA, or Hanscom AFB

Travel: 10%

Please note: Final compensation for this position will be determined by various factors such as the Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant work experience, specific skills and competencies, geographic location, education, and certifications.
