Position Summary

Odyssey Systems is looking to add a Program Manager who will manage the success of programs and projects within Odyssey’s C5ISR Business Unit. This individual will execute the collection programs in accordance with company and customer objectives. The PM will have operations management, supervisory, and administrative responsibility of the portfolio of programs. The position will lead Odyssey Task Leads and staff to ensure high quality operational performance standards to maximize customer and employee satisfaction.

 

C5ISR Group. Odyssey’s C5ISR Group supports a wide range of customers for C5ISR (Command, Control, Computers, Communications, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance). Our support plays a crucial role in the ability to coordinate and control the assets needed for warfighter mission success.

 

This is a full-time role located that can sit in Boston, MA, Colorado Springs, CO, Hampton, VA, or Dayton, OH.

 

Responsibilities

Duties include, but not limited to: 

  • Provide effective leadership and personnel management for multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Oversee talent acquisition recruitment activities to include: attract, hire, develop, and retention of staff
  • Develop effective working relationships with the government customer by taking a programmatic approach to their opportunities/issues/concerns to identify and resolve requirements/concerns
  • Ensure maximum customer satisfaction and long-term program success proactively.
  • Provide overall technical assistance and guidance for the design, development, testing, product improvement, fielding, and sustainment of projects.
  • Balance cost, schedule, and performance to assure best value for the customer.
  • Support external stakeholder engagement on matters effecting program execution.
  • Support the development of a comprehensive time-phased and budgeted program designed to meet mission requirements.
  • Manage cost estimating, program planning, programming, budgeting, program integration, interoperability, and oversight.
  • Direct the development of life cycle documentation for assigned projects and funds.
  • Perform the full range of administrative and technical supervisory duties.
  • Produce monthly contract deliverables and engage with customer leadership to discuss and review.
  • Engage with Talent Acquisition team to create/implement on-line focused recruiting strategies to source qualified and diverse candidates from Internal, external, and/or referral candidate pools.
  • Manage program recruitment process from requisition approval through to successful integration into Odyssey Systems.

Qualifications

Minimum Required Experience: 

Citizenship: Must be a US Citizen

Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance

Education: High School Diploma

Years of Experience: at least 8 years of Program Management experience supporting Government organizations OR,

3 years of Program Management experience supporting Government organizations with a Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or related field.

  • Excellent multitasking and time management skills
  • Demonstrate people skills and ability to manage high-volume, quick-turn requirements
  • Must possess strong customer service and communication skills
  • Experience using Microsoft/Google Office Suites;

Preferred Qualifications:

Preferred Clearance: Active Secret security clearance

Preferred Education: BS/BA

  • Ability to manage employees and customers effectively to contribute towards employee retention.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with multiple departments to achieve positive goals.

Location: Boston, MA, Colorado Springs, CO, Hampton, VA, or Dayton, OH, with some hybrid flexibility.

Please note: Final compensation for this position will be determined by various factors such as the Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant work experience, specific skills and competencies, geographic location, education, and certifications.
