Odyssey Systems has an exciting new opportunity for a Network Engineer responsible for maintenance, operations, installation, and upgrades of bridges, networks, and systems to include secure encryption devices; ensure connectivity and quality of connections and troubleshoots and maintains all associated equipment.

This position is located at Hanscom AFB, MA.

***Position will be contingent upon task order award***

Duties include, but not limited to: 

• Work with help desk technicians
• Provide maintenance support to analyze, isolate, and correct operation faults on secure network systems and encryption devices
• Conduct quality assurance test to identify project failures
• Review documentation to ensure that it meets testing standards
• Install, Test, Repair, and maintain equipment for racks; fabricate cables, conduct preventative maintenance
• Perform site surveys
• Provide reports and other information upon request of PM

Minimum Required Qualifications:

Citizenship: Must be a US citizen

Clearance: Top Secret (with a current investigation within the past 5 years) or enrolled in Continuous Evaluation and SCI/SAP/SAR eligible

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems

Years’ experience: 5-10 years of experience

• Configuration and maintaining Windows 2012R2 OS servers, Domain Controller and DNS servers, and Logrhythm servers
• Guide and assist CMSEC CRO’s
• SAR/SAP experience desired
• Configuration and maintain GEM X Encryptor Manager server
• Level III troubleshooting of components
• Required to system engineer secure system to ensure compliance
• Previous experience installing large scale infrastructure network and end use systems
• Previous experience installing large scale cloud infrasrtucture network and end user VTC systems
• Knowledge of various types of brands of encryption devices
• Knowledge of LogRhythm software recommended

Interpersonal Skills: 

• Working knowledge of the military structure and system acquistion
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to organize, multi-task, and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment

Additional Information:

Location: Onsite at Hanscom AFB with minimal remote flexibility

Travel: Frequent travel (within CONUS) up to 5-10 days per month
