Position Summary

Odyssey is recruiting for a GMD SE Infrastructure Lead to the join the team on a new award.  This is a full-time role at Redstone Arsenal, in Huntsville, AL.  The GMD SE Infrastructure Lead will support the Missile Defense Agency (MDA)Ground-Based Midcourse Defense (GMD) Systems Engineering (SE) Directorate.

Responsibilities

Duties include, but not limited to: 

 

  • The GMD SE Infrastructure Lead coordinates with internal and external stakeholders to MDA on Information Technology (IT), cyber and facilities requirements to execute complex projects.
  • Planning, budgeting, scheduling, executing, and monitoring all stages of a project to completion and continued maintenance.
  • Other activities include participation in weekly engineering meetings, property management, GME manpower management support, GMD SE space management.  
  • Presenting updates and providing recommendations courses of action to the Government customer.

Qualifications

  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Required Clearance: Must have and be able to maintain a Secret Security Clearance
  • Required Education: BA or BS Degree
  • 7+ years of experience
  • Knowledge of engineering, cybersecurity, facilities, and IT processes
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Proficiency in SharePoint
  • Ability to develop Qlik Sense Dashboard
  • Advanced organizational, written, and verbal skills required
  • Ability to work within a collaborative environment composed of Government, prime contractor, sub-contractor and supporting contractor personnel 
  • Understanding of project management disciplines (i.e., scheduling, requirements management, risk management, budgeting, execution, monitoring, and reporting)
  • Ability to think critically (i.e., research, understand, analyze, synthesize, and critique), creating solutions to new program challenges and issues as they arise
  • Ability to propose and execute technical project plans and solutions which align with customer strategic goals--proposing courses of action based on overarching leadership goals and objectives
  • Ability to clearly communicate complex ideas and produce and present clear, concise, well-organized, and audience-relevant presentations and documents
  • Ability to create a positive, collaborative working relationship with representatives and stakeholders from external organizations
  • Ability to understand engineering project cost, schedule, and technical relationships and interdependencies

  • Interpersonal skills enabling successful collaboration internal and external stakeholders to MDA

Please note: Final compensation for this position will be determined by various factors such as the Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant work experience, specific skills and competencies, geographic location, education, and certifications.
